Posted September 22, 2013 Today is dedicated to registration, some meetings and opening ceremony. Drivers arrive at the track slowly, pits are not full yet. Some drivers are finalizing some tuning options, others finalizing the build of the car itself. Most of all, everyone has to glue tires, a lot of tires. After speaking with several, about 10 set need to be ready of the practice tomorrow. Some prototypes are visible on the pits but no pictures allowed obviously. On the organizer side, the crew is finalizing the track after the heavy rain from yesterday. A lot of work is done to get it ready. Posted September 23, 2013 For the first day of the event, some new cars were visible in the pits: the all new TeamC TM4, the coming 4wd Kyosho (pictures allowed only body on) and the newly released Sworkz S104. Every team will run mid motor during practice during 7 rounds of practice will be run instead of 10 as initially scheduled. The organization worked on the track all Sunday long except during the opening ceremony, continued late in the evening and will do so on the morning, reason of the 7 round of practice. Lors de la première journée, quelques nouveautés étaient visible dans les stands: le nouveau TM4 de TeamC, le future 4x4 de Kyosho, et le récemment commercialisé Sworkz S104. Tous les pilotes devraient rouler en configuration Rear Motor lors des 7 manches d’essais au lieu des 10 prévues. L’organisation a travaillé toute la journée de dimanche sur la piste excepté lors de la cérémonie d’ouverture, a continué tard dans la soirée et travaillera encore durant la matinée, ceci étant la raison du passage au 7 manches d’essais. Posted September 23, 2013 Some news from the track: Practice runs will start at 11pm local time. In the pits: Schumacher brought a prototype car to test some new solutions. Pictures not allowed in the pits after discussing with Tom Cockerill, no words except the fact is a prototype. After speaking with Naoto mechanics, it wont be possible to get pictures either. Les essais devraient commencer à 11h heure locale Dans les stands: Schumacher a amener un prototype pour de nouvelles solutions. Pas d'images autorisées dans les stands après avoir parler avec Tom Cockerill, pas de description non plus sauf le fait que c'est un prototype. Posted September 23, 2013 Akimasa Uchida from Sanwa is in the pits to support the divers and here are some pictures of the ESC. It comes with Fan, sensor cable with plugs and an extra length of sensor cable with no plugs. This ESC uses telemetry so you can adjust all parameters as long as you are using the lastest radio from Sanwa. It aslo detect how many cell you are using and adjust consequently. Akimasa Uchida est le representant Sanwa dans les stands pour aider les pilotes et suivent quelques images. Ce variateur est livr.a avec un ventilateur, un cable moteur et une longueur de cable additionnelle sans prise. Il utilise la telemetrie si vous utilisez une des dernières radio de la marque. De plus, il detecte le nombre d'élément que vous utilisez et s'ajuste en conséquence. Posted September 23, 2013 After some chat with several drivers, track is nice with a lot of traction. You can see cars wheeling under acceleration and rolling due to the amount of grip. Some area on the shade are still a bit humid, nothing the sun will be able to sort out. Laps times is on the 29-30 secondes range for the top drivers. If anything you want to see, any questions, feel free! Après échange avec des pilotes, la piste est plaisante avec une forte adhérence. il est possible de voir des voitures en wheeling à l'accélération ou partir en tonneau dû l'adhérence. Quelques zones ombragées de la piste sont encore humide, rien que le soleil ne pourra résoudre. Pour les meilleurs pilotes, un tour se couvre en 29-30 secondes. Posted September 24, 2013 Some new items to come. Quelques nouveautés à venir. AKA shows new rims and matching tires. The Evo is similar to 1/8th rims, with no lips on outer edge. The 1:10 EVO wheels have taken buggy racing to the next level by adapting the L-shaped 1:8 buggy bead to the smaller 1:10 wheels. The L-shape bead makes tire mounting much easier by giving you a wider and easily accessible gluing surface to ensure a strong bond between the tire and wheel. The new EVO wheel has been redesigned to be stronger, stiffer, and also features pre-punched vent holes in the wheel. Along with the redesigned wheel we have reworked our industry standard Red inserts to fit the new tire package. They are made from the same high quality closed-cell foam and have been redesigned to work with the EVO wheel and tires. This rim will be available on Nov 1st. They clear the table top after the straight and then clear the triple before a hairpin, jump a double the clear the following triple to go thru a sweeper and a 180 and then large banked curve. They comes close to the rostrum for a single jump followed by a short but high table top in a curve. Next comes a tight S-section, a 180 sweeper, a table top and another 180 leading to a switch back and a double double cleared in one shot before the big 180 leading to the straightline. Beaucoup de pilotes roulent en configuration Mid Motor mais certains se sont essayés avec le moteur en porte-à-faux. Uniquement quelques pilotes roulent en configuration moteur en arrière par obligatiore va t-on dire dont Billy Eaton avec le Serpent et il devrait être dans le premier tiers du tableau hier soir.
