Posted December 19, 2006 Robitronic is proud to announce the release of the AVID 1/10th Scale Electric Touring car. The Avid is a high-end touring car designed specially for professional drivers. Many special features making the difference to most other electric touring cars. We started the design with the question: What can we do better? So the Avid is designed for maximum performance, easy handling and a lot of new features in the touring car sector. The high-efficiency drivetrain with extra large belt pulleys, superstrong and smooth aluminium differentials and a improved suspension/steering-geometry for maximum cornerspeed makes this car ready for competition. The chassis is highly complex manufactured. The new form-fit technology for all chassis- and suspension-parts is a special-feature. Posted February 7, 2007 Trés belle en effet surtout en rouge. Par contre, faut se démonter toute la partie arrière pour accéder au diff (comme 415 et 415MS, T1 et FK05 ou RDX) : pas super par rapport à la concurrence moderne (T2, RDX phi, 415 MRE, Mi3, JRXS type R, cyclone...). Je ne parle même pas si l'envie se fait sentir de changer les deux courroies (demonter les cellules, les triangles, supports amortisseurs...). Faut prévoir dans son emploi du temps. Les roulements de l'arbre "primaire" de la couronne intégrés dans les cellules, avec le flex du chassis, ne vont sans doute pas durer super longtemps (voir T2). Pas grave, ça fera un autre démontage de cellule arrière gratuit. Je note par contre que les plateaux de diff sont de très grand diamètre : un très bon point. Super aussi les grands roulements des axes de roues (comme T1...), ainsi que les bielettes pour le pincement. Pas facile la conception d'une voiture. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted February 7, 2007 Fusée alu AV/AR, les 1/2 platines... J'ai demandé confirmation et un bon pilote avec un électronique "brush" arrive a 1370... C'est en fait pas très lour mais ce n'est pas ce qui se fait de plus léger... Je sais pas si on a accès au diff facilement ou bien si il faut démonter complètement les cellules??? Posted February 7, 2007 je ne vois trop le rapport ?? A cause des contrats. RMD a peut etre une close dans son contrat avec ASSO qui pourrais l interdire d importer un chassis de marque concurente. Ce qui me fait dire ca c est que cette semaine je suis passé chez RMD et je n ai vu aucune AVid alors que la Scalpel (1/18° de chez Robi) y etais et que Asso n a aucun model correspondant a cette echelle. Mais comme je l ai dit, je peut me tromper, je ne travaille pas chez RMD. Maintenant si RMD l importe ca fera un autre très beau chassis dans les stands et c est tant mieux pour nous, car franchement ce rouge est vraiment très beau et la qualité d usinage a l air vraiment bien Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
