Guys! OK - you caught me. The secret release of a new Protoform body. Can't get away with anything with this here fangle Internet thing.

I thought I'd debute the all new 2009 Protoform El Camino ClubCab sedan body in Thailand. It seems that they really like that "look" over there. I sure did hope you guys would like it as much as the racers in Asia.

I'm currently making minor dimensional adjustments to the molds that I want to submit to ROAR for the GBS approval. A little time consuming because of shipping across the country etc. Here's a small list.

#1465-00 - Mazda 6 (rubber tire)

#1487-00 - Mazda Speed 6 (rubber tire)

#1476-01 - Stratus 3.0 AP (rubber tire)

#????-?? - NEW un-named Foam/Carpet Protoform body (3 to 4 weeks away) followed by a "rubber tire" version of the same body style. Both done to GBS configuration.

* Please note: none of the small changes I'm currently making will have any effect on performance.

I sincerely appologies to anyone who has been negatively affected by my inability to get these (GBS/ROAR re-approvals) all done on time or at very least a bit sooner. Since Sept 2006 my priorities have needed to be a bit "divided" unfortunately. Sometimes life throws us a few unexpected "curves" and forces us to focus on things that we normally take for granted.

Thanks for your patience - Dale - Protoform

One of the most interesting and exciting topics of the 2008 season is the emergence of an all-new on-road class - the 200mm pan car category that’s been coined the “WORLD GT” class. This class will feature GT style (front engine 2 door) coupes like the Viper and Aston Martin etc. PROTOform’s first launch is the all-conquering Corvette C6-R body. Made for the newly released 200mm pan car chassis that are starting to hit the market at this time. It’s detailed yet functional. Pulled in .030 lexan it comes with an aggressive “Gurney lipped” wing, decal sheet and wing hardware.

It’s going to be refreshing and fun to see this new class develop. PROTOform will be supporting the growth of this new World GT class with a couple of “purpose built” GT body styles in the near future.

Check out this new class – you’re sure to be impressed!

Features:

Made with Genuine GE .030 lexan

An aggressive “Gurney lipped” wing

Fits 190mm electric TC chassis, and includes decal sheet, window mask and mounting hardware

PROTOform is proud to release the new “F-MD” for all you oval racers who don’t run in the modified class. It’s based on the style of stock we now call “The Nationwide” car and is both functional and yet fairly realistic. It features 2 trim lines (as guidelines) for capped tire or foam tire racing. It comes with decals, protective film, and spoiler hardware. It’s sure to be a winner as were former PROTOform “MD” (medium downforce) body style

PROTOform is unveiling it’s latest in a line of winning sedan bodies at the 2008 RCX Show. The all-new “R9-F” is a Global Body Spec ready race body specifically for Carpet/foam racing. It features a low center of gravity even at the legal 115mm height. For those club racers that like to run their bodies low – it’s designed to be quite “slam-able” without clearance issues. In pre-production testing, champion driver Paul Lemieux has given it a big “thumbs up”.

As usual the “R9-F” is pulled in genuine lexan and comes with protective film, decals and wing mounting hardware. We think it’s going to be a winner!

Features:

Made with Genuine GE .030 lexan

Great handling and balance on the high traction surfaces

ROAR legal and conforms to all IFMAR specs

Fits 190mm electric TC chassis, and includes decal sheet, window mask and mounting hardware

The much anticipated PROTOform “R9-R” is the latest in 190mm touring sedan bodies. This Global Body Spec ready race body is designed specifically for rubber tire racing weather it’s on a carpet or a paved surface racetrack. It features a low center of gravity even at the legal 115mm height. The oversize rear wing helps performance on a poor-grip surface that’s commonly experienced in club racing. The body as well as wing have clearly marked trim lines for “legal” IFMAR/EFRA/ROAR style racing as well. The fenders were shaped to provide ample clearance when running 63mm diameter rubber tires. As usual the “R9-R” is pulled in genuine lexan and comes with protective film, decals and wing mounting hardware.

We’re sure the “R9-R” body will compliment any winning touring sedan combination!

Made with Genuine GE .030 lexan & lightweight .025 lexan

Made for rubber tire racing

Meets all GBS/EFRA/IFMAR/ROAR specs

Fits 190mm TC chassis, and includes decal sheet, window mask and mounting hardware

#1498-00 190mm

#1498-11 190mm Lightweight

Oui la mazda 6 est une bonne carro mais après tout dépend de la piste, si tu roules sur asphalt, c'est parfait sinon si tu roules sur moquette, je te conseille la mazdaspeed.
