Im looking forward to racing but am a bit puzzled why ive just had an email asking for payment, as ive already paid as a gift by paypal already, so am wondering if there has been a glitch somewhere.

PLease your attention:

Ardent Raceway will be putting in more heaters in preparation for the PetitRC in January and the jumps will be big and spectacular in keeping with the PetitRC philosophy. John from Ardent Raceway also asked me to remind people that they continually invest in the facility as and when they can offord to, to ensure stability and sustainability of the Raceway. Each week things are improved, they listen to feedback and make changes. The Raceway will again be even better for the PetitRC in January.

Thank you for your interest and your fidelity to PETIT R/C.

That wasn't my decision.

Don't worry...As I mentioned it won't be the PETITRC track layout and jumps.

There will have practises on Saturday morning as usual.

Guys, the new carpet arrived yesterday and it is the same colour as the carpet they used at the Petitrc in Paris. Rather dark blue (like a new pair of Levi 501s back in the 80s :-) so just a heads up, if your car has a dark colour scheme, you might want to be adding some light stickers to it or painting a new shell :-)

Hope to see some of you Thursday morning, the track will look a lot more impressive Saturday morning for the Petitrc, so I don't want to see any posts on Thursday night saying it's a patchwork, they put grey carpet on blue, the ramps are not that good, the layout won't work etc.. it's just a dry indoor buggy track that you can shake your car down on, not the finished article. Anyone who posts negative comments about the track Thursday night will have to pay £2 to pit!!! :-)

I remind you the PETITRC track layout will be ON from Saturday... and NOT before

On Saturday at 6h00am, please open really well your eyes and wake up! (subliminal message) :=):

Racing Format

Drivers will be sorted into practice groups based on their claimed ability when they entered. Fastest Drivers will be in the earlier groups. The Trucks will be placed among the earlier groups. Slowest drivers will be in the middle groups. Practice will be timed. After Practice the Heat groups will be made ranked by each driver's best 3 consectuve laps in practice. You will need car numbers on your car during practice so that in the unlikely (LOL) event that you gave us the wrong PT number we can try to correct it. Check the practice group listing (available from Thursday evening in the middle frame) to make sure you gave us the correct number.

The faster drivers will be in the earlier heat groups. Slowest drivers will be in the middle groups. The reason for this is so that the practice A Final can take place while the Finals are being sorted and numbers distributed. We are running a lot of races so we need to save time.

Finals will be sorted by best single time in qualifying, not round points. The 3 leg finals will be scored using the EFRA 2010 rule.

This information will be updated during the event.
