Posted July 16, 2013 vu sur oople "If the manual comes back from the printer, we should be able to ship U.K. Kits late next week. We are not the printer's biggest customer, so when I finish it (this week for sure) we get in his queue. Sometimes that is not long at all. Other times... We could make a Kit with the new bulkhead, tower, and ball stud lands so you can bolt "tower forward" on the Squared. It would fit the original 6 too if it has a 4-Gear. But would you not prefer to get the whole UpGrade Kit and go all-Cubed? The car is faster and better. B.T.W., the new medium downforce wing fits the original 6 and Squared just as it does the Cubed, so you can easily have the whole "tower forward" package on your Squared." Posted August 9, 2013 While many have experience with our molded-chassis X - 6 Squared, most experience with the Cubed has been limited to Team drivers until now. First Cubes should begin showing up in stores in the next few days. Then most people will begin to realize that the others are trying to match the Squared while we raise mid motor to a higher power. Those posting above have made some great points: First, all aluminum cars bend, period. Most drivers find out the hard way as they chase handling and set-up with a chassis that is ever-so-slightly tweaked at first, but then gets worse. Since we went to all-carbon fiber chassis cars, we have learned so much about them and how to tune them. The Cubed has our new "flex deck" technology which greatly extends the range of flex tuning. It's a carefully designed spidery-looking thing which Team drivers love. You simply can't tune an aluminum car this way. On our web site is a C.A.D. photo of the new deck flexing. Second, all the major MM cars (except ours) utilize the rear control arms from the "donor" car, which in some cases is the same car in RM configuration. Those arms are designed for RM, and the geometry is wrong for MM. X Factory's arms are designed for MM only, and this gives us the correct rear pivot geometry for maximum rear traction, both forward bite and side bite. While I have not seen the new Centro transmission, I can say this for all those I have seen: X Factory was first to turn the motor around by adding an idler, and our great 4-Gear transmission positions the motor correctly to allow you to get the weight distribution you need. As has been noted, the extremely light Cubed maximizes this advantage. It was stated above that X Factory has been doing MM longer than anyone. In 2006 when we started running the Cubed in public, most drivers from the other companies laughed. Now they imitate us. We have more experience running MM on dirt tracks than all the other companies combined. charles sinclair
