Back again for another year is the ever popular Sweep UK Rug Racers series - one of the UK’s best and biggest series again sponsored by Sweep and in association with Racer Magazine. The series will be running over six rounds with from four to count starting next month. The dates are: 9 October 2011 6 November 2011 4 December 2011 15 January 2012 12 February 2012 4 March 2012 As in 2010-11, Rug Racers will be donating all monies from the raffle and from selling cakes to Macmillan Cancer Support and last year they made an amazing £500. The series is once again being sponsored by Sweep UK, but this year in association with Racer Magazine who have very kindly donated a subscription for the raffle at each round. Sweep UK will be kindly donating around £100 of raffle prizes per round and as Hobby Wing are also supporting the series, they will be providing items too. The classes will be: 13.5T Open TC (adjustable timing allowed) 21.5T Open TC (adjustable timing allowed) Modified Open TC (10.5T or lower) Mardave V12 The cost to book in will be £11 via Central Booking per meeting with 13-year-olds and under £8. Booking in on the day, will cost £13. Each meeting will consist of four qualifiers and two finals.
