DAKOTAH  PHEND  WINS  C.R.C.R.C.  MIDWINTER  CHAMPIONSHIP

 

 

Dakotah Phend, using the X Factory Infinity rear tower brace, has won the first two A mains here at the 30^th annual C.R.C.R.C. MidWinter Championships.  In an unbelievable finish to A-1, Phend inherited the win 100 feet from the finish when race leader Jared Tebo hit a marshal who was working on a back-marker.  A-2 was a wire-to-wire win for Dakotah, with second-qualifier Tebo in hot pursuit looking for a way to pass almost until the end.

 

 

The X Factory Infinity tower brace moves the rear shocks to the front of the arms.  In an interview, Dakotah said, “Moving the shocks forward helps smooth the car out through corner entry and exit, and helps it jump better.”
