Behind, Jukka Steenari crowds on the track (as in the last qualifying). The positions in the lead of the race stay inchange and Chris Doughty, the Losi poleman is winning this 1st round but Craig Drescher has not said his last word.... Steenari thkes a good start and pass 4th quickly but the actual European Champion, Ian Kenningley, started 8th, realises a good race and goes back up at the fifth and doubles Steenari. Neil Cragg, unlucky, breaks his car.... In front of the lead, Chris Doughty takes his first place as he can because Drescher is also quick just behind him.
