Xfactory - X6S

The wait is almost over....... The full specification, pictures and pricing are due to be announced for our exciting new “X6-S” project.

To have been unveiled today would have been “foolish” and maybe not taken seriously, so racers will have to wait that little bit longer until tomorrow now (2/4/14) to see the full details.....

Being launched and available to the public in the coming few days, this project has been driven and managed by X-Factory UK and will be sold under the “DMS Partz” brand name here in the UK.....

The wait is over....... Introducing the X6-S 2wd shaft driven off road buggy conversion from X-Factory UK.

The X6-S has been designed for today’s ultra high traction Astroturf and Carpet type tracks. Featuring a motor position further forward than traditional mid motored cars for better stability and a sharper response.....

The X6-S is based on the popular X-Factory X6 Cubed front end but utilises the rear suspension and drive train from the trusted B44.2 platform. Featuring a lightweight “CarbonFlex” chassis for both rigid construction and strength whilst retaining the all important controlled flex for consistent bump handling. Carbon fibre multi-layer front top deck system combined with a new carbon fibre rear top deck designed to optimise flex and provide easy access for slipper adjustment.

Designed to use “shorty” type LIPO batteries, resulting in a superb weight balance both front to rear and left to right.

Two servo mounting positions and rear mounting locations for added ballast to enable easy weight distribution tuning.

Antenna mounting locations on both the left and right of the car to suit multiple receiver positioning.

The X6-S is a conversion kit and is available in two versions – Level 1 and Level 2.

The X6-S Level 1 kit will include the parts required for someone who already owns an X-Factory X6 Cubed, leaving them to source only the B44.2 rear end and centre drive parts required to complete their model. The Level 1 conversion includes the “CarbonFlex” main lower chassis, front carbon fibre side decks, front carbon fibre upper top deck, rear carbon fibre flex top deck, carbon fibre battery strap, X6-S logo vinyl pre-cut decal sheet, set up sheets and instructions.

The X6-S Level 2 kit is aimed at a racer who does not already own an X6 Cubed and includes everything from the Level 1 kit, as well as the following items; Graphite molded nose piece – Alloy front top deck supports – Carbon Fibre nose bridge spacers and stiffeners – Plastic wing mounts (X-Factory) – Carbon Fibre 4mm “multi mount” rear shock tower* – Alloy chassis top deck posts – Alloy battery posts – Carbon Fibre antenna mount – Alloy top deck spacers – Clear lexan bodyshell and wing with window masks (AE Parts not included in either kit)

* “Multi Mount” rear shock tower features multiple wing mount positions to accommodate mounts from X-Factory, Associated (B44), Schumacher or JConcepts (C4.2 or B44)

The Multi Mount rear tower is included in the Level 2 kit and will be available shortly as a spare part as well as for all Level 1 owners.
