Posted February 8, 2012 For a start, the holes are 2.5mm and your expected to shove M3 screws in them. Ive never had to pre-screw/tap a kit in my life, but this one needed it. Another down side is the crap black allen key bolts, they are sort of soft in the head (so to speak), so I used my AE bolt kit, what a difference!! I will order the BM-ASST screw kit next week so i can replace the others. Although I think 2 of them are stuck fast and i may have to drill them out.... yes... they are in!! I also had to put the diff housings in the oven and set them overnight with screws as i didnt like the small bend in them, bit of a let down, but i think i managed to iron it out. The good: BIG BORES... they are magnificent. nuff sed! Narrow chassis, very streamlined, and lots of adjustment, can use any LIPO, short or long, and you can change to hex adapters if you want to. Its all very similar to the B4 series in respect to the diff and outdrives, but its a winning setup so thats cool. All in all, great kit, once you get the titanium bolt kit, (or use AE one) although I still put the BMAX4 ahead of it due to the pleasure of everything fitting, lining up and just being a full quality kit. Once you get the BM-ASST titanium kit, you wont look back, and will throw the black allen key bolts out that came with it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Vu mon anglais, j'ai pas tout piger à part qu'il faut mieux avoir un taraud M3, que les BigBores sont magnifiques.... En clair la caisse devrait déchirer . Parcontre qu'est-ce qu'il entend par "hex adapter" ? pour les jantes ? AR et AV ? Le mien est en précommande chez ART. C'est bien des jantes de B4 qui vont dessus ? Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) Je viens de voir la notice: http://www.teamyokomo.com/jpn/download/manual/b_max2_manual.pdf les axes de roues d'origine sont métrique avec roulements 5x10x? . Mais si on veut monter autre chose que de la jantes blanches Yokomo, il existe des axes en pouce façon B4 Asso en 1/16. A moins que les jantes du TRF201 soit compatibles ? Tous les pilotes avec qui j'ai discutés qui roulent sur bmax sont ravi de leur bmax...aussi bien sur la facilité de la caisse et de la qualité de la caisse et des plastiques... Perso concernant le bmax2,pas encore vu de pres mais en tout cas je pense qu'elle va cartonné et je pense que les pilotes preparent en secret ce new modele pour les competitions à venir et quand ils auront le bon feeling on trouvera des fiches set up plus facilement... Il faut quand meme rajouté que pour sa premiere sortie officielle en course au japon elle est championne et vice championne du japon tout de meme.... Posted April 7, 2012 Voici un petit PDF que je viens de faire pour les ressorts Yokomo. J'ai envoyé un mail a Mr. Hosoda pour lui demander la correspondance entre les ressorts du B-MAX2 et ceux du B-MAX4 (si toute fois elle existait)... Et bien oui! La seule différence est le diamètre du fil du ressort qui est plus petit pour les ressorts du B-MAX2...
