Posted October 1, 2011 Some questions asked each year: - Can I enter with my national race license or do I need an international license? // Puis je m'inscrire avec la licence de mon pays ou dois je avoir une licence internationale ? The PETITRC RACE is a friendly race and no licence is required // La PETITRC RACE est une course de type amicale et aucune licence est requise - Is this race invitational only or open to everyone? // Est ce une course sur invitation seulement ou ouverte à tout le monde ? The PETITRC RACE is invitational and also open to everyone from 1st october (if some entries available yet) // La PETITRC RACE est une course sur invitation mais aussi ouverte à tout le monde à partir du 1er octobre en fonction des places disponibles - Is it ok to use additives on the tyres? // Est ce possible d'ajouter un produit sur les pneus ? NO! If someone use that and we find that, you will be disqualified immediatly of the weekend! // NON! Si quelqu'un utilise un produit, et que l'organisation s'en rend compte, le pilote sera exclu immédiatement de la course pour le weekend! - What tyres will we need to use for the race? // Quels types de pneus devrons nous utiliser ? Bar codes (blue/orange) Jconcepts tyres recommended (These are the BEST on this track but are not obligatory) // Bar codes (blue/orange) Jconcepts. Ces pneus sont les MEILLEURS sur cette piste mais il n'y a pas d'obligation de les utiliser.
Posted October 20, 2011 We have been in close contact with Nicolas over the past months on a regular basis and even more so over the past couple of weeks as I'm sure many of you are aware. We as a club were asked to RUN the event and the VENUE was agreed with MA so it's not our fault they have let us all down. We have exhausted every avenue and invested much personal time searching everywhere for a new (suitable) venue to host the event at. The reason we decided to try and assist is because Nicolas and our club didn't get the final decision about MA until last week because we were promised by Silverstone Circuit that they would let us use the Venue regardless of MA being involved or not. They changed their plans late last week due to BUSINESS REASONS!!! As I mentioned we have another venue in line, however we're dealing with a multi national company and things move slowly in these circles. We wanted the chance regardless of MA's involvement to host such a prestigious event even if at a great financial loss to our club!!! So again, I'm sorry if you feel like you have been ill-treated or kept waiting. I didn't want to get involved in giving possible wrong information when I feel we as a club shouldn't post anything regarding Mr Petit's event without it coming from him first. It is only natural that he has probably asked other venue's/clubs as some of you're hinting at and that is fine. I feel we've done everything possible to make sure this event is as fantastic as the past years that I've been fortunate to attend. Matt Owen SRCMCC Chairman Due to some problems, I would like to announce you today that the 6th edition of the PETITRC RACE ( ^^ name of the race) will be back to.... ARDENT RACEWAY at Kings Newton in Derbyshire. If some of registered drivers want be refund, it will be possible. Just send me an email. Roll on ARDENT RACEWAY! Some places are available yet but not for a long time. Remeber you, this 5th edition was FULL and some of you stayed at home. Wake up!! PLease accept my apologizes even if that's not my fault...

Chris Hallo Chris, The NanoByte tyres will arrive at the end of December. Drivers could use TerraByte tyres but we want to use the new NanoByte because they are a little faster at Ardent. People can train on TerraByte tyres if they want and they will be able to buy NanoByte from the race track on the day from RC DisCo. Danke sehr, wir sehen uns im Januar! Posted December 29, 2011 Some news about tyres: The new Nanobyte tyres will be available at the track on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They are arriving in the UK this week. We will NOT sell any to anyone prior to the race. This means that all pilots at the Petitrc race will have the same chance to run the tyres. No-one will have an advantage by being able to run the tyres before the race. This is a true controlled tyre! The tyres will be shipped direct to the race on the Friday, and will be available from the on-site shop (MB Models) that Friday. We will have the following tyres & prices available at the track:- DB1013RA dBoots 1/10 NanoByte(A) - RRP = £7.75 (approx 9.30€)* DB10134A dBoots1/10 NanoByte(A) – RRP = £7.25 (approx 8,60€)* DB10132A dBoots1/10 NanoByte(A) – RRP = £6.75 (approx 8€)* DBSC13AA dBoots 1/10 NanoByte (A) – RRP = TBC (hopefully by the end of today) £1 = 1,19€ (29/12/2011) I remind you that you can use ANY Dboots compounds. The Nanobytes are just recommended (because they are better on carpet than others Dboots)

Posted January 3, 2012 Hi Nicolas, J'espere ta passer de bonnes fetes jus qu'a la.. What compounds are recommended for the track at ardent? Also are inserts included with the tires and imposed? Thanks, Cham Hi Cham and all, We recommend the A compound NanoByte tyres for the PetitRC race. Any dBoots tyre in any compound can be used, but the A compound NanoByte tyre is the fastest. Inserts will NOT be included with the tyres. Racers can use any insert. Of course, no additives will be allowed. The tyres have arrived in the UK. They will be on sale on Friday 13th at Ardent raceway, and throughout the weekend from the on-site shop at Ardent raceway. This is the first time the tyres will be commercially available. Posted January 3, 2012 !!! Warning!!! 1 mistake has been written on dboots website! As written since the beginning the right info is dboots tyres must be used on all axles, including non-driven axles. dboots will amend the wording on the dboots website immediately. We remind you that ALL OFFICIAL news are on this thread. If you have any questions, feel free to post in this thread, thank you.
