Houla nouvelles couleurs 2009 , ça cartonne ! je rentre de Lacanau dans 10 jours, on va affuter les buggy's de luxe pour la course de Reignier.

It's not often that we get to see new X-5 stuff - but at Eden Park, Dan Greenwood was sporting a very interesting reverse-motor modification. In a similar way to the Schumacher CAT SX and Xfactory X6², the motor spins in the same direction as the wheels to add to the traction / mid-air ability.

Dan's car is running an extra idler gear (from the AE B4 gearbox) to allow the (reverse of normal) motor to drive the car forwards. Dan is running a 96T Tamiya spur with Tamiya slipper pads.

Tom Cockerill had a neat looking machined spur gear from RW Racing which allows his car to use Associated-style slipper pads and keep the original gearing.

Some of the XFactory drivers are choosing to replace the XX4 front wishbones with those from the CAT SX, since the geometry is the same and presumably they're in more plentiful supply.
