Posted August 6, 2004 That is NOT a joke !!!! There are few minutes (19h30 GMT+2) : DURING THE SOCCER GAME ORGANIZED BY TEAM ENGLAND (ENGLAND VS EURO'S DRIVERS), NEIL CRAGG HAS BROKEN OFF ONE LEG. THE SOCCER GAME IS INTERRUPTED AND NICK WITH AMBULANCE IS GOING TO THE HOSPITAL. FROM ALL DRIVERS AND ORGANIZATION, MORAL SUPPORT FOR THE FRIENDS NEIL. TODAY RACE ONLY PRACTICE ROUND. TOMORROW THE 3 FIRST QUALYFING ROUNDS. If you want add some comments (in english), do not hesitate - It is not neccessery to register you - Go to this part Have a nice evening on PETIT R/C ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ce n'est pas une blague ! Il y a quelques minutes, à 19h30, se déroulait comme chaque année le match de foot entre les Anglais et le reste de l'Europe. Lors de ce match, Neil CRAGG vient de se casser une jambe !!!!! Le match a donc été intérrompu et Neil vient d'être transporter à l'hopital. Tous les pilotes et l'organisation compatissent pour Neil CRagg. Je vous tiendrai informé de ses nouvelles prochainement. Posted August 7, 2004 Here are the results after 3 round that is the young driver, NEUMANN JOrn who is the leader this evening (he did 2 TQ on 3 !) NEWS FROM NEIL CRAGG Neil is now in a local hospital and is in good spirits. His leg received a severe break, and it is most likely that the hospital will perform an operation on the leg on monday. At this stage, we are not aware of any complications. It is likely that Neil will be in hospital for 7-10 days. Neil and his parents would like to thank all the people who helped at the scene of the accident, and especially the race officials that were involved in organizing and translating on their behalf. Whilst we may have lost an important driver from the 2004 4WD EC, both Neil and his father wish that all the competitors continue to do their best, to make the event a successful and competitive Championship.
