Toujours en tests, elle semble évoluer favorablement et surement...

Je crois deviner une nouvelle carro ainsi qu'une refonte du train AR.

mon colis est enfin là!!

La boite est vraiment petite mais bien remplie.

La carrosserie et les ailerons sont à part.

On trouve une super notice, une feuille A3 avec l'éclaté au verso et la liste des pièces au recto.

La première étape va consister à mettre de la colle cyano sur la tranche du châssis carbone.

Comme d'hab, les pièces sont très bien réalisées.

Un petit coup de papier de verre très fin, une goutte de cyano que l'on étale avec un coton tige et c'est fait!!

Le sachet du train avant est bien rempli.

Les triangles sont en carbone plat.

L'articulation des fusées se fait sur rotules grâce à une coquille maintenue par un joint torique.

Avec les photos, vous allez mieux comprendre.

Sur les triangles inférieurs, on installe les butées de direction. Une vis va permettre de régler cette butée suivant les revêtements.

Les triangles inférieurs vont prendre place sur des colonettes en alu.

Des rondelles de différentes épaisseurs feront varier la garde au sol.

Les triangles supérieurs vont se fixer sur une plaquette en carbone qui va permettre, grâce à de nombreux excentriques, de régler la chasse et le carrossage.

C'est intelligement réalisé car, pas moins de 4 réglages de carrossage et de chasse peuvent se régler et, on est sûr d'avoir les mêmes valeurs à gauche et à droite.

La fusée avant est un classique de ce type de châssis.

Un empilage de rondelles va faire varier la garde au sol suivant qu'on les empile en dessus ou en dessous.

L'axe de fusée est en acier maintenu par de petits circlips.

L'axe de roue est lui aussi en acier.

La fusée coulisse entre les triangles et, ses mouvements sont contrôlés par un ressort. On peut rajouter de la graisse sur l'axe pour le freiner plus ou moins.

Voilà le sachet du train arrière.

Le pod en carbone reçoit les palier en alu superbement usinés.

L'articulation se fait via une "boule" pivot très libre et, des links sur chaque côté.

Attention, il est très important de vérifier la liberté du train arrière suite au serrage des vis sur les traverses "links".

Le contrôle du mouvement en latéral va se faire grâce à des ressorts et un amortisseur hydraulique.

Le ressorts s'installent sur une traverse en carbone. Une rotule servira pour l'amortisseur hydraulique

Une autre traverse en carbone se place sur les paliers moteur avec l'autre rotule de l'amortisseur.

Le différentiel est superbe.

L'axe est en acier creux.

Il y a 12 billes pour assurer le réglage qui va se faire via un écrou nylstop qui va serrer une vraie butée à billes.

Des excentriques vont permettre de modifier la garde au sol.

Le contrôle du train arrière se fait avec 2 amortisseurs.

C'est un combiné ressort/amortisseur presque standard qui gère le mouvement dans le sens de la longueur.

Le corps est en alu fileté pour le réglage de la contrainte du ressort.

Pas moins de 6 pistons différents sont livrés...

L'amortisseur hydraulique qui gère le latéral voit sa tige passer des 2 côtés!!!

En fait, l'axe reçoit un piston presqu'en son milieu, il passe à travers un bouchon "bas" et à travers la chape "haute".

Allez, on attaque l'un des derniers sachets.

Le système de direction repose sur un renvoi central (sur roulements) et, des biellettes en alu anodisé orange à pas inversés.

Plein de trous ainsi que l'empilage de rondelles. vont permettre de modifier les angles.

Le servo verra sa tête coiffé d'un sauve servo et, positionné sur le châssis grâce à des supports en alu.

Voici la direction montée sur le châssis avec un Savöx 1252.

Le pare choc avant est en nylon et reçoit le plot de carrosserie.

Un aileron en Lexan viendra se visser dessus.

Il faut savoir que la fixation est de type Tamiya F104 et, cela va permettre de monter d'autre type d'aileron intégralement en nylon!!

L'aileron arrière en nylon injecté se place sur la traverse arrière en carbone.

On peut le régler en 4 positions de hauteur.

Le gros avantage de cette X1 est que l'on peut mettre l'accu dans le sens de la longueur ou en travers.

Pour la moquette, on mettra l'accu en travers alors que sur le bitume, on préférera la version en longueur.

L'accu est stoppé par ces écarts en nylon et, son maintien est réalisé par du scotch.

L'électronique est installée!!

Et aujourd'hui c'est la marque TOP racing qui ne déroge pas à la règle en présentant sa Rebel F1X.

Celle ci propose de belle innovation tel que le support de servo en carbone et Aluminium mais surtout offrant la possibilité de régler l'inclinaison de celui-ci afin de jouer sur l'effet ackermann.

Le train arrière est on ne peut plus basique pour ce chassis avec un pod articulé sur des bras tirés et un système de rotule, le tout amortis par un seul damper le latéral et des ressort lateraux ainsi qu'un amorto central.

Le train avant quand a lui, est plus tendance avec des triangles inferieures fixes en carbone et plastique pour leurs extrémités et réglables en hauteur via des entretoises sur le chassis.

Leurs homologues supérieurs sont quand a eux articulés et reprenne le système de suspension traditionnel de tout chassis de type Pan car a savoir une fusée+ressort libre sur un king pin.

Un chassis qui promet de belle performance.

Si quelqu'un roule dejà avec la F-ONE ça serait sympa qu'il nous fasse partager son ressenti avec ce chassis.

ちなみにマシンの名称は『F500WS』となりました。WSはWide Spec.の略です。

現在、組み立て説明書、袋詰指示書の作成や新規金型部品の試射立会等など、やることてんこ盛りです。忙しいですがとりあえず全て順調に進んでいますよ。

少しづつプロダクションモデルに近づいていくプロトカーの出来栄えの良さについついニンマリしちゃいます。

The WTF-1 rear suspension

The lightest, leanest, meanest F-1 machine in the world. Functionality, symmetry, and superior design.The dual damper tube arrangement allows the greatest tuning range. The Slider Pod makes ride height adjustments a breeze.

The WTF-1 features CRC's rear link suspension with side tweak springs. Pioneered by CRC since the early 1990's, now most all pan cars have copied the design.

The front end

The WTF-1 uses CRC's proven pivot-ball suspension. Used for years on the 1/12th and 1/10th cars, the pivot ball suspension allows easy castor, camber and roll center changes. The steering block is right off our 1/12th car and with CRC's national distribution, parts and accessories are easy to find.

The WTF-1 car accepts mini servos in the standup position shown here. Easy to mount and maintain. Also, a full 2s pack fits as well as adjustable positioning options for the 2s shorty pack.

The WTF-1 also accepts the small Sanwa servo laying down for even lower center of gravity. (shown above)

High quality CNC machined bronze pivot balls for smooth suspension movement. The 5 mm front axle is strong and accepts all the popular F-1 wheels and bearings.

Superior by design.

The WTF-1 is designed for performance from the ground up. Low CG, lightweight, camber, caster, roll center, ride height, spring + damping rate are all adjustment tools designed into the car. Unique to the WTF-1 is a full ball bearing diff with a graphite rear axle for the lowest possible spinning weight. Most other available F-1 kits use heavy steel diff axles with only a minimum of bearings, many times putting the diff gear and the diff hub on bushings not bearings. The WTF-1 diff is full bearing. Also on the axle, a super strong, double clamping left rear wheel hub. This allows a wide range of rear widths with no fear of losing a hub or damaging the axle with a set screw. The car is lighter, the rotating rear carbon axle is much lighter than the steel axle . This adds up to a massive on-tack performance advantage.

The CRC F-1 machine allows a great range of ride height adjustability. Unlike other models in F-1 racing, the front and rear ride height on the WTF-1 can be adjusted for the different rule packages, different tire sizes and traction levels.

In addition to ride height, the front and rear wheel width is very adjustable. The car has a great deal of flexibility in the front and rear widths, easily meeting the popular 190 mm width rule.

WTF-1 Rear Diff - Best in class

The diff is complete with a CRC diff gear; 16 smaller diff balls, 4 more than competitors. The 16 ball diff is smoother than others with 12 balls and weighs less! The gear is on a bearing and the diff hub spins on 2 bearings.

Lighter, leaner, meaner

A properly appointed WTF-1 is well under the weight minimum. With many other brands tipping the scales in tech inspection at over 100 grams heavier than the weight minimum, the CRC WTF-1 had a has a huge advantage. This with a 3 mm pure carbon fiber chassis, bottom plate, top plate and tweak plate. Yes, a full 3 mm of quad axial carbon fiber for super high strength, low center of gravity (CG) and rigidity. That thick, strong 3 mm carbon fiber chassis and bottom plate near the ground lowers the CG of the WTF-1. The well designed, lightweight components keep the overall weight very low. Result - lights out for the competition.

Above are the 1-2 finishers at the Snowbirds, Hayato (near) and Wynn (back). Hayato's WTF-1 has 80 grams of lead ballast attached to meet the weight rule.

Remarks – Italian factory driver Matteo Berlincioni is running here in Czech Republic the latest version of Fenix’ Formula car. The front end features some brand new upper and lower arms, that allow for a quicker caster setting without needing to change the arms themselves. they also sport an o-ring as a guide for the front kingpin to smoothen the suspension travel. The steering system has been changed as well, with the servo being brought backwards and is now laid down on the carbon fiber chassis.

Available now is Morotech's Project43 Part2 6-wheeler conversion kit for Tamiya F103 kits. Based on the experienced gained with their first Tyrrell P43 style kit, Morotech redesigned the chassis and used simplified suspension components for the front end that now is also of a self-levelling design. Japanese company Morotech now have their latest 1/10th formula pan car kit available in the form of the Project43 Part2 conversion kit. The evolution step of the company’s original 6-wheeler, that made use of the layout of the iconic 1976 Tyrrell P34, features a redesigned carbon fibre main chassis, new simpler front ends with revised Ackermann geometry as well as a V3 power pod with red anodised aluminium parts. Unlike current formula chassis designs the Project43 Part2 relies on a classical T-bar rear suspension with upper friction damper pressure plates to adjust the side-by-side and overall damping characteristics. Other new features include a self-levelling front section, a flex top deck and a medium-soft T-bar. The kit does not include parts such as the needed F103-style rear axle and diff unit, centre shock, tyres, bodyshell and wings and several small parts.

It is a 2WD chassis formula poured the know-how of TRF.
