1. GENERAL GAME INFORMATION

RC Cars (Radio-controlled Cars) game 


2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
----------------------

	Minimum configuration:

CPU: 				Intel Pentium III, 600 MHz
RAM: 				64 Mb
Hard disk free space: 		at least 750 Mb to store game files;
				at least 200 Mb to virtual memory
Screen resolution: 		at least 800*600, 256 colors
Operating system: 		Microsoft Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP
Video: 				based on NVidia, GeForce2 or ATI Radeon 8500 chipsets
				with at least 16 Mb installed texture memory 
Microsoft DirectX:		version 8.1 or higher.

	Recommended configuration:

CPU: 				AMD Athlon 1200 MHz or
				Intel Pentium IV 1300 MHz;
RAM: 				128 Mb;
Video: 				based on NVidia, GeForce2 or ATI Radeon 8500 chipsets

	Additional hardware devices and drivers:
Sound card: 			Creative Labs Live!;
Game controllers: 		Joystick, Gamepad or Wheel.
Modem or network card is required to run network game

3. INSTALLATION AND RUNNING
---------------------------
	To install RC Cars you should:

- Insert game CD;

if your operating system supports autorun feature:
- Click "Install RC Cars";
if your operating system doesn't support autorun feature:
- Choose "Start"-"Run" from Windows menu;
- type "D:\Setup.exe", where first "D" means CD-ROM drive;
- Click 'Ok';

- Click "Next >";
- Choose folder to install game, or you can use predefined folder to install game
 (C:\Program Files\1C Company\RCCars);
- Click "Next >" and wait until game is installed.

	When installation is complete InstallShield will check and update DirectX drivers.
RC Cars requires DirectX version 8.1 or higher. Follow DirectX installation instructions.

	To start the game select the following from the main Windows menu:
"Start"-"Programs"-"1C Copmpany"-"RC Cars".


4. UNINSTALLATION
-----------------
	To uninstall the game there are 3 options:
   - select the following from the main Windows menu: "Start"-"Programs"-"1C Company" - "RC Cars"-"Uninstall RC Cars"
   or:
   - select the following from the main Windows menu:"Start"-"Control panel"-"Add/Remove programs". 
     Find "RC Cars" in program list and click "Add/Remove"
   or:
   - start installation again (see "INSTALLATION AND RUNNING" above). Choose 'Remove' option.


5. DOCUMENTATION
----------------
	You can find the User Manual on the CD-ROM. To view the User Manual use any .html browser
(for example Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher, Netscape Navigator 3.0 or higher, etc) with frame pages support
	To read the User Manual you can open file "D:\Docs\index.htm", where first "D" means CD-ROM drive.
	When you have installed RC Cars, you can open the User Manual from the main Windows menu:
Make sure that the RCCars CD-ROM is in the drive, then select "Start"-"Programs"- 1C Company" - "RC Cars"-
"Manual".
